Philippe's Biography
Philippe has graduated in 1991 with a Diploma in Agriculture from Mc Gill University, Montreal Canada and is a certified Natural Farming teacher, trained directly from Mr Cho , the South Korean founder of the method in Hawaii
Philippe has specialized in organic sustainable Agriculture and has gained experience in vegetables and fruits production. Over the year Philippe had various experiences working in a number of farms in Europe, Australia, New-Zealand, North America ( Canada and the USA) including some work on private farms in Hawaii, Maui and on the Big Island. While living in Hawaii, He volunteered at YWAM Kona ( University of the Nations, Youth with a mission) and was responsible for the farm where He taught Dts students Natural Farming.
Philippe has gained a good understanding of what a self-sustainable farm should be. He studied Permaculture principles from Bill Mollison which is the foundation of sustainability. It is the understanding of creating an Eco-system as close as possible to mother Nature, a system that is self generating and require as little as possible of outside input and resources. In his early school training, Philippe studied the work of Masanobu Fukuoka in his book ” the one straw revolution” and was much inspired to apply his organic principle.
Philippe has more recently studied the Korean technic of Natural Farming based on using Indigenous Microorganism (IMO) and other various fermented preparation to revitalize burn out soil from chemical farming, give outstanding yields or simply improve dramatically regular organic farming practices.
Over the year he has researched and experimented with various farming technics such as using human urine and human manure, crush rocks, making bone meal and seashell meal, sea weed and sea water as fertilizer and remedy for fungal/bacterial diseases. He has been passionate about the work of Dr Maynard Murray found in his book “Sea Energy Agriculture”

He has used diluted Sea water in vegetable and fruit production with great success and feel that any farmer cultivating the land close to the sea should know about the amazing property of sea water and use it accordingly in the field.
After receiving the NF teacher training in 2010 Philippe traveled for over a year in Ecuador, Spain, France, Martinique, Dominica and New Caledonia teaching and practicing NF on local farms.
Philippe is available to work as a Natural Farming consultant anywhere in the world. He has a passion and a dedication to help people in remote locations grow their own food, become self-sufficient and improve their quality of life. He would like to offer his services to establish Natural Farms in local communities.
